The unusual trip

So here I am in a Starbucks, somewhere in Manhattan at 3:50 am. Not that I am not smart enough to figure out where exactly I am; I just don't care enough presently to find that out. When the world has more reasons to suck besides her gravitational pull, the only option I was left with was to go on a trip :) That way,although my mind is thinking of something else, my body is pretending to do something else and it's a really good way of fooling yourself (that you don't give a damn)

The trip started around 2 pm with Gurhan and Arlinton (from Lowell). At first, I opted out but then I opted in again. I offered to drive my car as that way, I will have something to be busy with. Thanks to the highway traffic, we reached Staten Islands around 7 in the evening. Arlinton's friend Greg had thrown up a BBQ party and we joined in. It was good fun with some nice sparkling wine (Yes, that's what we call it), movies, guitar, beer and ofcourse good food besides for the geeks that's a must in every party I attend. I really didn't know but time passed by real fast. Around 11:30 pm, we started off. We had decided to drop Arlinton at his place in Brooklyn and move around but the idea of spending the whole night hanging around in NY was just too enticing for Arlinton and he decided to join us. Honestly speaking, it was a real help as I am really not that good in figuring out roads and at the moment I really don't feel like using my head. So, he became my Navigation Aid :)

At first, we checked out Brooklyn. The nightlife was good. Then, we came over to Manhattan, parked our car and walked around. Chinatown, Broadway.. we just kept walking. My legs had almost started to hurt but I was somehow enjoying the hurt. NY is really a place to be in if you believe in nightlife. Cops moving around, crazy girls going topless just for the heck of it to show strangers how cool they are (sickos!), the traffic, and the bright lights, it was really so awesome. Finally, we ended up in this small Starbucks outlet and I ended up writing up the weird stuff still churning in my mind.
